EPD – Environmental Product Declaration
EPD is a Type III Declaration from an accredited Third Party Body, tacking a picture of energy consumptions and environmental impacts of a specific productive reality

DeepColor
DeepColor is a two-component acrylic-polyurethane and pigment finish paint. The aliphatic nature of the resins gives resistance to yellowing over time, while the acrylic component guarantees resistance to thermal stress for use in the domestic bathroom. The application with spray paint gives the product a technical, modern appearance and a compact and uniform color.

The exclusive formulations, created in our laboratories, make them hygienic, silky, resistant, printable and easily workable, if necessary, for cuts and punctures.
Our cast marble materials are available in multiple finishes, both matt and glossy. They are much more performing materials than ceramic – which they are replacing on the market – because they have superior technical characteristics: they guarantee greater resistance even with lower thicknesses, in addition to having the possibility of obtaining dimensions unthinkable for other materials such as ceramic, glass and acrylic.

The UPC is designed to provide consumers with safe and sanitary plumbing systems while, at the same time, allowing latitude for innovation and new technologies. All nicos products are C-UPC certified.

Bactericidal feature
bactericidal substances and materials are distinguished from bacteriostatic ones since bacteriostatic do not cause death of bacteria, but rather prevent or severely limit bacterial growth – multiplication. The term bactericidal therefore indicates an antimicrobial substance or material capable of killing bacteria. Matt materials of nicos international are bactericidal as verified in the 2 test reports performed according to ISO 22196: 2011

Comparative stain test shower tray
In the last 10 years, many manufacturers of shower trays in synthetic materials have been born, however only few are able to produce products that last over time.
The main problems that occur in shower trays made by manufacturers who do not have the necessary skills are 2: breakage over time to thermal shocks and resistance to stains.

Our technical materials, although they are better in terms of multiple characteristics than materials commonly used in the bathroom such as ceramic, have their own particularities; the technical specifications are used to clearly confirm the maximum degree of quality that we can guarantee on the basis of the raw materials used (resins and minerals), the production machinery (mixers, sieves, gravity systems) and above all the control methods (light , distance, size and density).

Care and maintenance of our materials
Technical materials were introduced on the market about 20 years ago, and this section helps the customer to understand how these “new materials” are maintained and cleaned, which, however, resist all the detergents used in the bathroom
Cristalplant ordinary cleaning
Taking care of CRISTALPLANT is quick and easy. Just clean with soapy water or common detergents to remove most of the stains and dirt that can settle on the surface. In particular, gel or abrasive detergents used with an abrasive sponge such as “Scotch Brite®” are recommended, making sure to rinse the surface well; in this way, the original matt finish, a distinctive feature of CRISTALPLANT, will be maintained.
Restoration of burns and stubborn stains of Cristalplant basins and bath tubs
For minor damage it is possible to restore the surface using a Scotch Brite® abrasive sponge and a common abrasive cleaner. If the defect is still visible, go over by sanding with very fine sandpaper. Follow the indications in the video.
